Louise Johnson Preliminary Cup WIN!

Another well done is due to the team who put out another brave performance in Plymouth last Wednesday. After a mammoth and sickly bus journey through ridiculous fields and grassland, we had a difficult job getting psyched up for the game ahead. After a short notice venue change thanks to the rain, an unsavoury 3g pitch awaited us.

We were caught off guard a few times during the 1st half, and despite scoring first found ourselves 2-1 down at half-time. An ear bashing and a pep-talk seemed to do the trick, and mid-way through the 2nd half we managed to equalise. The 3rd and winning goal came from a beautiful string of passes, and a great finish from just inside the box. This is a great result, and we are now through to the next stage where we will face Chichester University on the 10th of November. Another huge well done to all of the SIMMIES girls!

Louise Johnson First Game WIN!

A massive well done is due to all the girls who played Wednesday. An outstanding performance was awarded with a much deserved win! Unlucky to have a goal disallowed, we still managed to come away with a 4-1 win, and all 3 points. It was an absolute pleasure to be on the pitch, and we couldn’t of asked for a better start to the season. WELL DONE GIRLS!
